£SOOO A YEAR FOR NEW CHAIRMAN LONDON, June. 20. Sir Eric Coates, who succeeds Sir Leslie Plummer as chairman of the Overseas Food Corporation on July 1, will receive a s'alary of £SOOO a year and will sign a three years’ contract. He is regarded as one of the leading civil service financial experts and has been credited with bringing about considerable improvements in the administration of the British Zone o Germany. . , , . .
