PREFABRICATED HOUSES FOR , EXPORT (P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 20. The pre-cutting prefabrication of houses for expert were occupying the attention of several countries in'spite of the current housing shortages in or near them, said the managing director of N.Z. Forest Products. Ltd. (Mr D. Henry) to-night. Mr Henry has returned from a visit to Britain, North America and Scandinavia in connection with his company’s pulp and paper projects. Australia Avas one country which was buying these houses, substantially in England and Europe, Mr Henry said. This field of effort was wide open also in New Zealand, and Mr Henry considered the Dominion weuld be lacking in enterprise if steps Avere not taken immediately to cater at .least for the Australian market. “At present our country just does not count as a supplier of houses, although our timber resources are so ample,” Mr Henry said.
