(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Mother, father > and nursemaidhave been the roles of the quietspoken Robert Docherty, of Glasgow, for the last six weeks. He arrived today from London on the Port Dunedin with his two sons, John, aged 19 months, and Robert, who is just three years. A last-minute illness prevented Mrs Docherty from sailing, and she will follow him to New Zealand before the end of the year. Though the boys kept him busy on the voyage, Docherty managed “fine.” A boilermaker by trade, Docherty is bound for Christchurch, where a job in a chocolate factory awaits him. During the war he served in the Cameron Highlanders and Seaforth Highlanders.
