MORE TROOPS NEEDED
CAMPAIGN IN MALAYA (Rec. 10.30.) SINGAPORE, April 11. ' The Malayan Legislative Council will next week debate a motion urging the British Government to send troops forthwith “to speed the antiterrorist campaign.” The text of the motion, released in Kuala Lampur to-day, stated that while the Council appreciated the re ; cent additional assistance by his Majesty’s Government, it viewed with grave concern the slow progress toward the end of the terrorist menace.” Considerable further military aid must toe immediately forthcoming.”
