Dissolution To Be Sought HOBART, March 15. The Premier of Tasmania (Mr R. Cosgrove) announced to-day that he would wait on the State Governor (Sir Hugh Binney) and advise him to dissolve the House of Assembly. He added that this course had been decided upon by the advice of the Labour Caucus. No date has yet been fixed for an election. The position is unusual, as there is no record in Tasmanian history of a Government haying sought a dissolution while Parliament has been in recess, and while the Government has not suffered defeat on a major issue. Parliament) was to have met next Tuesday, with certain defeat facing the Government as a result of the resignation of the Speaker, who was an Independent.
