FOUR BOOKMAKERS FINED
ALL DEFENDANTS PLEAD GUILTY (P.A.) GISBORNE, March 14. Finos totalling £225 wore imposed on four Gisborne men in the Magistrate’s Court to-day when they pleaded guilty to charges of bookmaking. They were Albert Victor Singe, aged 57, fined £6O; Irwin Douglas Bradley, aged 40, fined £55; Malcolm John Owen, aged 43, fined £65; and Maurice William Costello; aged 43, fined £75.
