YOUTH DIRECTOR
REV. W. HENDRIE VISITS ASHBURTON The Rev. Walter Hendrie, the Youth Director of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, addressed a Avell-at-tended combined meeting of the Sunday School teachers and Bible Class leaders in St. Andrew’s Social Hall on Monday evening. The Moderator of Presbytery, the Rev. Donald Shaw', of Metliven, conducted the meeting, and the Rev. James Reid, Presbytery’s Youth Convener, introduced Mr Hendrie, At the Presbytery communion service yesterday the Moderator conductthe service, and Mr Hendrie gave the address. The Presbytery of Ashburton Avere the guests of < the ladies of thq Presbyterial Association at the annual luncheon held in St. Andrew’s Hall. Mrs Mcllroy Avelcomed the Presbytery members and Mr ShaAv expressed thanks to those responsible for the luncheon. At this gathering also Mr Hendrie gave a short address.
