CHILDREN FIND MINE IN JERUSALEM
FIVE KILLED IN EXPLOSION (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 14, Five children were killed and 12 others were injured in a mine explosion yesterday” afternoon, reports the Jerusalem correspondent of the United Press. , The children found a mine and carried it into school. The horrified teacher took the mine outside and ordered the children to stand clear and fired at it four times. It failed to explode and the children crowded around it again. Then one of them poked it with a stick and the mine detonated.
