OBITUARY
MRS M. A. JENNINGS The death occurred at Tinwald to-day of Mrs M. A. Jennings, of Carter’s Terrace. Mr and Mrs Jennings went from Ashburton to Tinwald in 1901, -and the home has been there ever since. Though indifferent health had curtailed her activities over recent years, Mrs Jennings was for the long period of her residence in Tinwald keenly devoted to the interests of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, being a valued member of the Mothers’ Union and the Church Guild. For long periods she was enrolling member of the Mothers’ Union ,and her chief interest outside her home circle was her church. Mr Jennings predeceased his wife many years ago, and the family consists of MissE. M. Jennings, well-known in musical circles, and Miss J. M. Jennings, of the staff of the Ashburton Public Hospital.
