V[Tl,i:i: REFUSES REQUEST (Rec. 10 a.m.) LONDON, March 13. The Prime Minister, Mr Attlee, refused in Parliament to outlaw the British Communist Party. He was replying to the veteran Conservative member, Sir Waldron Smithers, who asked him to do so “in view of the Fuchs trial.”
