MAN MISSING IN ASHBURTON
Wide Search Instituted F&ars are entertained for the safety of Leonard 1 Guy Lawn, aged, about 50, who resides with his wife at the Ashburton County Ciub in Tancred Street West. Mr Lawn left the club premises, where he was steward, about 2.30 yesterday afternoon, and has not since been seen. When last seen he was wearing . a rust-coloured sports coat and navy blue trousers, but. was not wearing a hat. He js described as being about sft 4ins in height and well built. A largb number of men have been searching for Mr Lawn, who is believed to be suffering from loss of memory. Any person knowing his whereabouts is asked to communicate with the police immediately.
