WOMEN’S INSTITUTES
FAIRTON MEETING The final card evening of the Fairton Women’s Institute was held in the Fairton Hall recently. There was an excellent attendance, and dancing was also enjoyed. The aggregate prizes, kindly donated by Mr and Mrs J. Price, were won by Mrs D. Robertson and Mr 11. Jamison. ' The weekly card prizes were won by Mrs W. Kennedy and Mr A. Phillips, and consolation prizes by Miss D. Slade and Mr J. Dewart. Mrs H. Jamison thanked all who had made the evenings so pleasant and successful. Mrs J. Rapley supplied the dance music. A novelty dance was Avon by Mr J. Whiting and Mrs E. Bryant. ,
