THEFT FROM COMPOST SOCIETY
CLERK PLEADS GUILTY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 12. Admitting that while a servant of the New Zealand Humic Compost Society (Incorporated) be had stolen £287 belonging to the society, Philip Henry Robinson, aged 40, clerk and labourer, appeared before Justices of the Peace. The accused also admitted a charge of attempting to steal £7O from the society. The accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was refused.
