RESULT OF POSTPONED POLL LONDON, March 9. The Conservative candidate won the Moss Side Division of Manchester at the postponed general election poll, reducing Labour’s overall majority to six. - The voting was: Miss Florence Horsbrugh (Conservative) 25,347, R. W. Casasola (Labour) 16,769, E. P. Atkin (Liberal) 2607. Conservative majority, 8578. Miss Horsbrugh’s win represents a Conservative gain from Labour, which captured the seat from the Conservatives in 1945. The Liberal candidate lost his deposit.
