BIBLE PROPHECIES

ASSEMBLY AT ASHBURTON Delegates from all parts of the South Island, excluding Marlborough and Nelson, will assemble at the Foresters’ Hall, Ashburton, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday next for the semi-annual circuit assembly sponsored by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. New Zealand is divided into six circuits, each comprising from eight to 15 companies or congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Each circuit has its own semi-annual circuit assemblies each year for the purpose of doing Bible research work and making known Bible truths as such are fulfilled in the modern day. There are 1200 active members in New Zealand and 200 are expected at Ashburton this week. A cafeteria has been arranged here, and billeting found in hospitable Ashburton homes. The speakers will include two representatives from Brooklyn (New York), Messrs C. M. Clayton (District Sc-r ; vant) and O. A. Crosswhite (South Island Circuit Servant). All sessions will be open to the public.
