TIMBER WORKERS
CO-OPERATION WITH EMPLOYERS i (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 2. The New Zealand Timber Workers’ Union will continue its policy of cooperation with employers under Aho new Government, said the nationalsecretary of the union (Mr F. Craig) to-day. “We are determined to hold the present-day advantages,, secured through long years of sacrifices,” said Mr Ci’aig.
“The National Party pledged itself to maintain these things and we can accept this in good faith until proved otherwise. If the party does not gov ern fairly and justly there will be another day when the people will be able to tell them where they get off,” Mr Craig.
