X RUAPUNA BRANCH There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Ryapuna W.D.F.F. which was held in the local hall, and was presided over by Mrs J. Clifford. , . Letters of appreciation were received from two recipients of flowers. A motion of sympathy was extend- •' ed to Mrs W. C. Johnstone. Competitions, .judged by Mrs McKenzie, a visitor from Cave, were for best bloom, cabbage, jug of shrubs, three melting moments and child’s party, hat. v k . The hostesses *were Mrs J. Isaacs and Miss x G. Ross. The next meeting which takes the form of a children’s afternoon party, will be held on December 16.
