PETROL FOR BOATS
ALLOCATION ANNOUNCED /(P.A.) OAMARU, Nov. 11. Petrol allocations a month for pleasure craft for the current season were announced to-day by the Minister of Supply (the Hon. A. ‘II. Nordmeyer) as follows:—. Launches—Up to 13ft, five gallons; up to 25ft, 10 gallons; up to 30ft, 20 gallons; up to 35ft, 25 gallons; over 35ft, 30 gallons. Boats using outboard motors—Up to and including 5 h.p., four gallons; over 5 h.p., eight gallons. Auxiliary yachts—The allocation each month for an auxiliary, yacht is to be half the quantity authorised for a launch of the same waterline length.
