CONCERN FELT
OFFICIALS MISSING IN KOREA
WASHINGTON, Nov. 10. The United States has sent Russia a Note expressing “grave concern” over the welfare of two American officials of the Economic Co-operation Administration who are missing in North Korea. It also asked for Soviet assistance in freeing the** American ship Kimball R. Smith. The officials were on board the ship when the Korean crew mutinied and sailed into North Korea last month.
Russia’rejected’an earlier Note and told the United States to take up the problem with the North Korean Government, 'which the United-States refuses to recognise. The latest. Note was delivered-by the American Ambassador in Moscow (Admiral A. G. Kirk). .
