HYDERABAD RULE
ACCESSION TO INDIAN UNION
X NEW DELHI, Nov. 10. The Nizam of Hyderabad has agreed to the accession of his State t.o the Indian Union, according to newspaper reports received in Bombay. Mr V. P. Menon, adviser to the Indian States’ Ministry, and Major-Gen-eral Chaudhuri, Military Governoi ot Hyderabad, are reported to. have had .an audience with the Nizam, who agreed to, sign the instrument of accession subject to ratification by the Representative Assembly. , Hyderabad is the richest State of the Continent, and' has a population of 20,000,000.
