RIVER STEAMERS SUNK

(Rec. 10.20.) HONG KONG, Aug. 22. Two large river steamers were today sunk by Nationalist bombers operating over the Yangtse between Yeyang and Hankow, reports the official Central News Agency. Three other vessels were seriously damaged in the same attacks. The News Agency also reported largescale Nationalist bombing of Communist supply lines in Hupeh Province.— Reuter.
