COMPETITIONS AT TIMARU \ Plaeings secured by Aslibuvton district entrants at tlie continuation of the Timaru Competitions yesterday included the following:—• Character Dance, under 8 years — Pamela Childs (73pts) 2, one point behind the winner. Skipping Dance, under 10—Pauline Rooke (Tinwald) (75pts) 3. There were 28 entrants. Tap Dance, under 14 —Marie Kelly (76pts) 2, Ruth Hanson (75pts) .3, Elaine O’Grady commended. The winner scored 77 points. Recitation Test, under 14 —Gwendoline Ward (Tinwald) (,74pts) 3. There were 21 competitors. '
