BUILDING UP ARMY IN EGYPT
MISSIONS TO VISIT BRITAIN AND GERMANY CAIRO, Aug. 20. ' Egypt will send military missions to Britain and Germany for specialised training as part of a’plan to build up a strong army. The spearhead of the army will be a £6,000,000 armoured division. Parliament has approved the allocation ol £52,000,000 which is one-third of the State Budget, for the armed services and to establish a first-class arms factory in Egypt.
