MULTIPLE MURDER SUSPECTED
FRENCH WIDOW ARRESTED PARIS, Aug. 20. The Poitiers police announced that they have arrested Marie Besnard, a 53-year-old widow, and charged her with murder by poisoning following the exhumation of five bodies, including her husband’s. Traces of arsenic were found in all five bodies. Autopsies are being performed on two others.
