In fact, our two master matmen are in its ‘throws’ and like nothing better (except of course, some Timaru's rnatmen’s mixture), than to be down their wrestling gym. They also like to wrestle each other and usually have a ‘gripping’ time endeavouring to pin each other for a fall. Tim claims he has only been ‘pinned’ by his mother, but Ru (a-parent-ly not to be caught ‘napping’) doesn't ‘fall’ for this and ‘bars' no holds to drain (pardon, gain) the winning ‘pints’ (Ah! Glorious Timaru, what a prize!). Both wrestlers are so evenly matched however in capacity, holds and general ring-craft (no connection with Major Burr-Cantle) that all ‘rounds' are equal and the bouts usually end in a draw (of Timaru) and a friendly clasping of handles in the ring (for every grappler knows that genial Timaru puts back what your opponent takes out of you). Tim: What’s your favourite hold? Ru: A. glass of Timaru’s gvapplers’ gargle. Tim: I ‘submit’ we hold up proceedings then and pin down a handle of that ‘hold’ favourite.
