ST. JANIES THEATRE Thirteenth in RKO Radio’s series of detective mysteries, “The Falcon’s Adventure,” now at the St. James Theatre, features Tom Conway, Madge Meredith and Edward Brophy in a thriller revolving around a formula for making synthetic industrial diamonds. About to leave on a vacation, The Falcon rescues a pretty Brazilian girl from an attempted kidnapping and restores her to her father, an inventor. When the inventor is murdered the police suspect The Falcon of the crime, but the detective evades them and, at the daughter’s request, sets out for Florida to deliver the formula to the murdered man’s partner. En route to Miami an attempt is made to get the papers away from him, and upon arrival he finds the man he seeks has been killed and that he is up against an organised gang determined to get the invention by any means. How he outwits their,, leader, an unscrupulous dealer seeking to eliminate all competition, leads to the climax in which Goldie, the sleuth’s wistful assistant, plays an important part.
