BADMINTON
COMBINED FIXTURE HANDICAP TOURNAMENT At a recent meeting of the combined Ashburton Badminton clubs, arrangements were made for the annual handicap tournament which, as usual, will consist of women’s, men’s and mixed doubles. The tournament will be held in the Arcade on September 7 and 8, and the closing date for entries was set as September 1. The event has proved a popular one in the past, and it is hoped that record entries will be received this year. Mr A. Stanley was appointed supervisor and Mr N. Gosnell secretary.
