Village Completely Wrecked (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) ANKARA, Aug. 18. The official Turkish News Agency reports that at least 20 people were killed and 52 injured in an earthquake which rocked a wide area in Eastern Turkey today. Semi-official sources said that 1200 persons are homeless. Panic-stricken people are camping in fields outside the town of Erzefum. A village near Erzerum, which was the epicentre of the' earthquake, was completely destroyed.
