CONVERSION OF FORMER POISON GAS FACTORY ■ & (Rec. 10 a.m.) BERLIN. April 18. The Berlin, former German poison gas factory at Leese, near Hanover, is to be converted by the British authorities into a lionie for children, says the Brtish United Press. About £60,000 from the Lord Mayor of London’s children’s fund will be used for the purpose. . More than 100 children will he housed. Most of them are orphans whose parents disappeared while travelling from the Russian Zone to the Western Zones. -A
