STORMY SEAS
All Blacks Seasick
MANY OVER-WEIGHT (Special Correspondent—N.Z.P.A.). (Aboard Tamaroa), April 17. The All Blacks’ hope of a calm journey, comparable vyith that of the New Zealand cricketers, were dashed early on the voyage to South Africa.
Billowy sea,s greeted the Tamaroa as she ploughed into the Tasman, and practically half of the team became victims of seasickness. Consequently, it was not till the fourth day out, that the whole team was able .to. get down to serious training. Thornton and Delamore, who are both physical instructors, are in charge of physical exercises. Many of the players are well overweight. In addition to the selection committee of Parker, Allen and Dalton a team committee has also been appointed consisting of the selectors McHugh,, Elvidge and Frazer. The Tamaroa is not expected to arrive at Freemantle till Sunday, afterv noon and leaves again on the fallowing day—Anzac Day. Plans for a match against Western Australia are unlikely to eventuate, but- arrangements are being made for a practice run. / ,
