VISIT TO CARDINAL SPELLMAN NEW YORK, Jan. 12. Mr Fraser visited Cardinal Spellman, wlu> showed him round St. Patrick’s Cathedral. “He is a very charming man,” said Mr Fraser. “He knelt at the altar, where lie gave a special blessing for New Zealand. 1 ’ This evening. Mr Fraser attended a reception in the Waldorf Astoria given by Mr T. O. W. Brebner, the New Zealand Consul-G eneral. Mr Fraser leaves by train for Washington to-morrow.
