SUCCESSFUL R.S.A. BALL
FUNCTION AT MAYFIELD The third annual ball of tire Mayfield branch of the Returned Services’ Association was held in the hall last Aveek, when there was a good attendance of residents and visitors from the surrounding districts. Novelty dances Avere Avon .by Mr and Mrs R. Sim, Mrs Bean and K. Murdoch, Miss D. HoAvard and D. Riley, and Mrs Sim and E. Holland. The music for the dancing Avas supplied by Cook’s orchestra, Avith extras by Mr K. McKenzie. The masters of ceremonies were Messrs L. Lilley and J. Donaldson. Golf Club Match The members of the Mayfield Golf Club competed in a flag match recently, the winners being Mrs G. Robertson and Mr J. Murdoch.
