WAIREKA CLUB ! CLOSING DAY QF SEASON There was a good attendance at the closing day of the Waireka Croquet Club yesterday. The season’s final match was a progressive tournament which was won by Mesdames W. Denley and E. Zohrab. Later, Mrs D. Fitzgerald (vice-presi-dent) presented prizes won during the season, the list being as follows: Senior Cup—Mrs _G. A. Doggett; runner-up, Mrs S. Mitchell. Junior Cup: Mrs E. Zohrab; runnerup, Mrs E, Meaclem. , Yankee tournament—Senior, Mrs W. Denley; junior, Mrs Zohrab. Championships —A grade, Mrs Denley; B grade, Mrs A. P. Warriner; C grade, Mrs Zohrab. Doubles—Mesdames Saunders and Meaclem.
