Wingate in plane crash in Burma. 1945 Germans began withdrawal from Holland. 1946 luncheon in Wellington to Admiral and Lady Louis Mountbatten. 1947 General Franco presented Bill to Parliament proposing that Spain become a Catholic and Social State, with himself as head.
