PENICILLIN FOR USE BY FARMERS
Information has been received by Federated Farmers that the Department of Agriculture is sponsoring the manufacture in New Zealand of penicillin preparations suitable for the treatment of mastitis. Discussions are taking place with the Health Department about the best method of arranging for the sale of such products. This information was received by Federated Farmers from the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. E. L. Cullen) in reply to a resolution asking for increased supplies of penicillin for farmers. It is expected that there will be no shortage in future.
