“MISS NEW ZEALAND”
FIRST ENGAGEMENTS IN BRITAIN LONDON, March %9. A provisional initial programme has already been arranged for Miss Mary Wootton (“Miss New Zealand”) when she arrives in. London by air on April 13. She will be met at Poole by the president of the Royal Society of St. George. The day after her arrival will be devoted to press interviews and discussion of film tests with the J. A. Rank organisation. On April 15 she will attend a reception by the Lord Mayor of London, and on April 16 the Royal Society of St.. George will give a reception at which the New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr W. J. Jordan) will be present. Miss Wootton will aloo broadcast in the BBC programme “In Town Tonight.”
