ASHBURTON’S COAST TOUR FIRST MATCH ABANDONED Bad luck was experienced by the Ashburton cricket representatives in the opening match against West Coast at Grey mouth. Rain limited play to about two hours, during which the home side scored 92 for the loss of three wickets. For Ashburton, Wall took two for 19 and Zouch one for 16. The Ashburton team was scheduled to play Buller, at Westport, to-day. Tliev return home to-morrow.
