Friendly Fixture at Hakatere

RIVERSIDE CLUB 1 MEMBERS On Saturday the Riverside section challenged the Hakatere section of the Hakatere-Riverside Tennis Club to a friendly match played on the courts at Hakatere.

A very enjoyable tennis dance was held in the Hakatere Hall in the evening, the novelty events being won by Mr and Mrs A. Anderson, Miss Zohrab and Mr J. Ford, and Miss Coville and Mr Begg. Hakatere won the tennis match by 19 sets (145 games) to 13 sets (133 games).
