BOY DROWNED
TRAGEDY AT WAITARA (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Mar. 28. The body of Maxwell Keith Allen, aged seven, son ofr Mr and Mrs Keith Allen, of Waitara, was found lying in about five feet of water in the bottom of a concrete slipway on the bank of the Waitara River this afternoon. Nothing is known of how the child came to be in the river, in which there was an exceptionally large volume of water.
