MONTGOMERY TO VISIT BERLIN (Rec. 11 a.m.) BERLIN, March 24. Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery arrives on April 3 for discussions with General Sir Brian Robertson and other senior officers, says an official announcement.

Representatives .of all four occupying Powers agreed on a number of questions when the deputies of' Berlin’s military commanders met in Berlin to-day. The German news service Dena quoted a French spokesman as saying that the, meeting ended in the best of understanding. The American Militai’y Governor, General Lucius Clay, said the Russians must make the next move if the Four Power Government in Germany is not to collapse completely. “We have a right fo know their intentions. It is up to them to call another meeting of the Control Council.”

The next meeting would normally be held on March 30. The Russians retain the chairmanship for the whole of March.
