TORNADO DAMAGE
FIFTY PLANES DESTROYED (Rec. 12.30) NEW YORK, March 21. Tornado damage at Tinker airfield is now officially estimated at 15,000,000 dollars. Fifty planes were destroyed and 50 damaged, seven storage buildings were levelled; and 100 special purpose vehicles were damaged. The wrecked aircraft included 17 Skymasters, and two Super-Fortresses. The base i© America’s largest repair and maintenance establishment.
