COMMUNISTS AND OTHER

MEMBERS (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) PARIS, May 18. Fighting broke out between Communists and anti-Communist members of the French Upper House to-day, when a de Gaullist, M. Monnet, called for a purge of Communist elements in the French Atomic Energy Commissariat. Members exchanged heated insults, and soon came to blows. . The president, M. Monnerville, suspended the meeting and ordered the Chamber to be cleared.
