Conservatives Raise £1,000,000 — The Conservative Party has raised the £1,000,000 for its fighting fund which was launched by Lord Woolton at the annual conference six months ago. It was composed chiefly of small amounts. The party is now embarking on an intensive propaganda and recruiting campaign, which it is planned to continue and develop until the next general election. It aims at securihg 200,000 more members.
