STUDENT RESOLUTION
M. GOTTWALD CONGRATULATED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. By ..majority vote, the executive committee of the Victoria University College Students’ Association passed a resolution ‘■congratulating M. Gottwald on Iho triumph of democracy in Czechoslovakia.” - A number of members of the asociafion. have demanded a special meeting of the student body, which will be held next Monday, when a vote of no-confidence will be moved in* the executive. Dissentient voters on the executive committee said in a statement that they were confident, that the motion congratulating Mi Gottwald directly contradicted the feeling of an overwhelming majority of students at the college.
