OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED A decision that. Hie special work for tin l incoming year would be the rerobing of the choir was made at the annual mooting of the St. Stephen’s Anglican Ladies’ Guild yesterday. It was decided to recommend to St. Stephen’s Church that the whole congregation make a special collection of tinned food for Britain at an early date. Several letters of thanks were received from recipients of Christny.is food parcels in Britain. The balance sheet, was satisfactory, i Officers elected were President, Mrs W. Morrell ; vice-presidents. Lady W. Nosworthy, Mesdames J. Evans. H. Stephenson, M. C. Knox and I-’. Curtis; secretary. Mrs L. A. Charles: treasurer. Mrs Curtis; committee,' Mesdames A. U. Martin, G. T-Tosken, TT. W. Smallbone, C. Bruce, J. Connor, IT. (!. Perrier, li. I). Robinson. W. Childs. K. Orr. L. Portin'. S. Mitchell, H. Thompson, 11. Revel) and M iss Page. Messages of cheer from the meeting wore sent, to two valued Guild members, Mrs W. TT. Amos and Mrs 11. W. Smallbone who are at present in hospital.
