Japanese Executed —The first Japanese war criminal sentenced to death by the Australian War Crimes Court in Hong Kong was hanged in Stanley Gaol yesterday, states a Hong Kong message. He was Rear-Admiral Tamura Ryukichi, who was found guilty of complicity in the murder by jutsu and straiiuglation of 23 Australian civil internees at Kavieng, New Ireland, in March* 1944.
