DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB RECORD ENTRY e Record entries for the season were received in the shoot held over ranges of 300, 500, and 600 yards conducted by the Ashburton Defence Rifle Club on Saturday. The contest was won by G. Lusk, whose aggregate was 101 points. Four marksmen gained 100 points. A trophy for the event was given by Mr T. A. Bryant. Best scores, giving the figures for the 300, 500 and GOO yards ranges, handicap, and total are: Lusk 32, 32, 34 (3), 101; I. Jacobson 32, 34, 31 (3) 100; R. Vincent 29, 30, 34 (7) 100; A. McArthur 28, 34, 30 (8) 100; J. Millichamp 25, 29. 32 (10) 100; F Porter 31, 33, 30 (5) 99; H. Cromie 32, 30, 33 (4) 99.
