EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY
COUNTY COUNCIL RIDING Mr J. G. Marshal], of “Balrazie*,” Barrhill, lias' consented to accept nomination for the vacant South Rakaia riding seat on the Ashburton County Council. When nominations recently closed for the local body elections only one, that of Mr H. A. Harrison, had been received for the two South Rakaia seats.
