ASSOCIATION OF RADIO TRANSMITTERS After one year in existence the Ashburton branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters is well established and in a po-, sition financially, according to the report and balance-sheet presented at the first annual meeting of the branch last evening. There was an attendance of 15, including two new members. A visitor, who was warmly welcomed to the meeting, was Mr G.' H. Diedrichs (ZL3LC), of . Evan’s Creek, South Westland. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr V. Lovett (ZL3AQ); vice-president, Mr R. J. Campbell (ZL3FM): secretary, Mr K. R. Walker (ZL3HW); committee, all financial members, with a quorum of seven including the chairman and secretary.
