SAME PARTIES EACH TIME :1 TIMARU, This Day. • An unusual case of a petitioner suing the same respondent twice r for divorce within seven years was heard at the Supreme Court, Timr aru, yesterday, before Mr Justice Fleming. ’ The petitioner, Laura F, Granger, represented by Mr R. Stout, was granted a decree absolute in divorce proceedings againet Arthur J. Granger ’ (Mr W. D. Campbell) in 1940, re- ? married him on his return from overseas service in 1943, and both agreed . to separate again in 1944. “This is rather unusual, isn’t it?” his Honour asked Mr Stout. “Yes. But it does show they tried to make the marriage a success,” replied Mr Stout.
